A former smithy,Yettholme is located in the small hamlet of Yett, between Johnstonebridge and St. Anns.

This traditional stone cottage has been recently renovated and furnished and offers spacious and comfortable
accommodation in which to enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside or as a base for accessing the many activities on offer in the area
The accommodation, which has extensive views across the surrounding countryside, comprises two double bedrooms,
a comfortable lounge with inglenook fireplace, flat screen tv/dvd, conservatory, utility room and large well equipped kitchen dining room.
The cottage is centrally heated throughout by gas with a combi boiler for instant hot water at any time and it has a gas fired log effect burner for additional heat and ambience.
The kitchen has a range style cooker with electric oven and gas hob and an additonal standard gas oven and grill and the usual dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator and freezer.
Yettholme is situated midway between the small towns of Moffat, an outstanding conservation town with many restaurants and visitor attractions,
and Lockerbie, which hosts an annual Jazz festival and has a popular ice skating and curling rink
and Lochmaben with its water sports.
Being within 2 miles of the M74, Junction 16, allows you rapid access to the North;
Glasgow and Edinburgh being only one and a quarter hours by car and South;
to Carlisle and the Lake District.
Lockerbie has a mainline railway station and steam trains pass through on their way to the Highlands.
Train journey times to Glasgow and Edinburgh city centres are approximately one hour.
Well behaved dogs are welcome and kennels are available for working dogs.
Bed linen, towels, hair dryers, ironing facilities, heating and electricity are included.
An additional charge to cover heating costs may be levied in winter months.
Since the cottage has been newly renovated and furnished we have a strict NO SMOKING policy.
Walkers. Access to the Annandale way is nearby and a little further north the Southern Upland Way.
Cyclists. The 7 Stanes Project, Mabie Forest and Dalbeattie Forest all offer varied off road biking facilities.
Motorcyclists. Moffat hosts several motorcycling events and the hill roads lend themselves to wonderful views and exciting touring.
Shooting. Partridge, pheasant shooting and wildfowling are available nearby as is stalking for roe and fallow.
Clay pigeon shooting is also catered for locally.
Fishing. Access to the River Annan known for sea trout and salmon is within walking distance. Day tickets on some excellent stretches are available locally
There are also sites of historical interest, golf courses, tennis and visitor attractions within 15 minutes drive of Yettholme.
