RIVER ANNAN NEWBIE & DISTILLERY FISHINGS
Fishing is available on the above throughout the season and provides the opportunity to fish for salmon, grilse and sea-trout. The fishings comprise almost two miles of mainly double-bank on the first major beat from the river-mouth & estuary. The fishing is split into three beats which are fished on a rotational basis and lends itself to easy access. Sea-trout fishing over the last two years has shown above average catches on the whole of the river and in particular on the Newbie & Distillery fishings. A full-time fishing manager lives on location (01461 202608) and there is a fishing hut with facilities in addition to toilet facilities.
